NRICH-ing the mathematics curriculum; a 3-day programme for KS1/2 staff
09:30 on 15 May 2018–15:30 on 23 May 2018
Exciting CPD led by NRICH! Delegates will explore how to plan for problem solving provision in their classrooms and settings, using a range of rich mathematical resources from the NRICH website. Activities which support the three primary mathematics aims of problem solving, reasoning and fluency will be experienced and explored from the perspective of the learner. There will be link tasks to try with children in between the dates, so that delegates can reflect on the teaching and learning opportunities they have experienced and receive support to overcome the challenges they encounter. Discussion and feedback will play a key part in all three days of this highly interactive professional development programme which will support staff in their development of confident, resourceful and enthusiastic learners of mathematics in their schools.
