Tackling disadvantage: back to the evidence

When: Wednesday 27th June 2018, 9.30am – 3.30pm

Where: The Romero Conference Centre, All Hallows Catholic College, Brooklands Avenue, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK11 8LB.

Join us for a day of exploring effective evidence informed approaches to closing the attainment gap.

Come along and hear from leading experts including:

Marc Rowland, Head of Rosendale Research School and author of ‘A Practical Guide to the Pupil Premium’

James Turner, Deputy Chief Executive of the Education Endowment Foundation, Vice Chair of The Brilliant Club, former Director of Programmes and Partnerships at the Sutton Trust.

Kevin Simpson, Chief Executive of the Aspire Educational Trust and The Aspirer Teaching Alliance, National Leader of Education and National Pupil Premium Reviewer.

Representatives from the EEF and Ofsted will  be sharing strategies for raising attainment for the most vulnerable pupils.
